these sam edelman zoe booties from http://www.shopnastygal.com/ are one of my favorite purchases of this year. i've been lusting over these booties for over 2 years and i finally gave in! they're actually really comfortable and easy to walk in, despite the heel height. once i received these, all it took was just one look & i fell in love even more. hahh. i'm never letting go of this baby. ever.

seeing that it wasn't foggy, i tried to take advantage of the "sunny" days but in fact, it was more than a bit nippy. i'm not gonna lie, i was freezing my arse off! anyway, it's finally august. my favorite month! -- or at least it was while i was living in socal. i miss soaking up all the rays, frolicking along the beach in the 90-degree weather, and celebrating the hub's and my birthday at our favorite restaurants with our amazing friends. 

don't get me wrong, i love SF... i just hate the weather. haha. there are times where you may not even see a single sliver of the blue sky... just a pure, dull, ugly, monotonous, gray, low hanging blanket of clouds. at times it can feel almost smothering. not my cup of tea. really.

oh & speaking of tea, i'm excited to be attending modcloth's tea party coming up later this month! definitely cannot wait. :)
