last saturday, i met up with crystal for lunch & a little bit of thrifting on 4th street in long beach. i didn't really get to browse too much or try anything on since cody wasn't in a great mood. but i didn't left empty handed this time! i bought a belt from meow. it's a 1940's - 1980's vintage/new store & their decor is pretty rad. their dressing room doors are made from 1950's refrigerator doors. how wiiiicked & unique, right?

we also went to la bomba. they had the pile sale {last picture above} going on! you can dig through this gigantic pile of clothes looking for bargain ranging from $2 - $8 (i thiiink but i forget... but everything is less than $10 bucks!) i've never seen anything like it. after being inside the pile for a while, i felt like i needed to take a shower. lol! it's sort of overwhelming at first... and it's kind of impossible to find anything unless you have the patience for it. i only found one item (in my size & liking) ... a teal skirt - which was only $4 bucks. too bad the guy wouldn't let me buy it unless i spent the $10 minimum. :( oh! the vintage pile sale is on the 3rd weekend of every month.
